Log In to Splunk Observability Cloud
This guide will help you log into Splunk Observability Cloud and obtain an access token for the ThousandEyes stream.
If you already have a Splunk Observability Cloud account and you have Admin privileges:
Log In to Your Account
- Navigate to Splunk Observability Cloud
- Enter your
email addressandpassword - Click
Sign In
If you don't have a Splunk Observability Cloud account:
Start Free Trial
- Navigate to Splunk Observability Cloud Free Trial
- Click
Start Free TrialorTry Free - Fill out the registration form with your business information:
Verify Your Account
- Check your email for a verification message
- Click the verification link to activate your account
- Complete your profile setup
- Access your new Splunk Observability Cloud dashboard
Generate Access Token
Once you're logged into Splunk Observability Cloud, generate your access token:
- Navigate to the
Settings->Access Tokens - Click
Create Token - Configure the token settings:
Name: Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "ThousandEyes Integration Token")Scope: SelectINGESTandAPI- Check
Please accept to continue with your selection.
- Check
- Click
Nextto proceed thePermissionssection - Keep the default permissions settings
- Click
Nextto proceed theExpirationsection - Keep the default
Expirationsettings - Click
Create Token - Copy the token

Bruno Variables
Now that you have your Splunk Observability Cloud access token and realm, add it to your Bruno collection variables:
- In Bruno, navigate to your
ThousandEyes Splunk Integrationcollection - Go to the
Variablestab - Find the variable named
Splunk_Observability_access_tokenin the list- In the
Valuecolumn, paste your Splunk access token
- In the
- Find the variable named
Splunk_Observability_realmin the list- In the
Valuecolumn, enter your Splunk realm (e.g.,us0,us1,eu0)- For example if your Splunk Observability Cloud URL is
https://us0.signalfx.com, then your realm isus0.
